The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Tampa Bay is a non-profit organization whose success is dependent upon charitable donations from individuals, businesses and organizations from our community. Car, Boat, RV Donations

Please consider donating your auto, boat, yacht, truck or RV to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Tampa Bay. You can receive maximum legal tax deductions and possibly a partial cash payment.

Drivers License & Vehicle Tag Check Box

Ronald McDonald House is now listed as one of the agencies that may receive voluntary contributions from new and renewed driver licenses and vehicle tags. Add $1 when you renew and help Ronald McDonald Houses from around the state of Florida!

Share-a-Night

Help with our annual operating expenses for the House by making a general donation to cover daily costs. Although we ask families to donate towards their stay, our actual cost is $65 per night. No one is ever turned away due to an inability to contribute.

Matching Gifts

Your gift to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Tampa Bay may qualify for a matching gift from your company. As a current employee or retiree, please check with your company’s Human Resources to see if a matching program for employee donations is available for our non-profit organization. We greatly appreciate your support and assistance in growing your gift for pediatric families.

Gifts In-Kind and Services

In-kind gifts and services allow us to keep our costs down. Items that help us keep our doors open include furnishings, appliances, office supplies, building equipment, cleaning supplies, toys and videos. Licensed services such as carpentry, landscaping, plumbing/electrical work, massage therapy and haircuts are all very welcome. If you have a skill that you feel would be beneficial to our families, please give us a call so that we may assess our present need.

Tax-Deductible Contribution Statement

RMHC of Tampa Bay (Fed Tax ID #59-1835985, FL #CH2181) qualifies under Sec. 501 (c)(3) of the IRS Code. A copy of the official registration and financial information may be obtained from the Division of Consumer Services by calling toll-free (800-435-7352) within the state. Registration does not imply endorsement, approval, or recommendation by the State. Tax contribution is deductible for the amount exceeding the fair market value of goods and services received. We retain no professional solicitors: 100% of each donation goes to our program.

Recycling

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Tampa Bay has built a partnership with national recycling companies to recycle and give back. This unique fundraising program will generate revenue for the Ronald McDonald House and also help your company protect the environment.

If you currently recycle we can meet the price and still give back. If you don’t recycle, it’s not too late to help make a difference. Are you not sure what to do or how to start? Pop Tabs/Recycling

Do you recycle pop tabs?

Yes, we support your recycling of pop tabs for the benefit of our program and value this donor activity by many community groups and individuals in and around Tampa Bay. Please bring your tabs to one of our three Houses for recycling, or if it's more convenient, you may take them to your nearest recycler and have them issue us a check. RMHC Donation Boxes at McDonald’s

Little by little, we can do a lot. Donation Boxes

A dime here. A quarter there. It might not seem like much. But when millions give, the amount those coins help children and families worldwide is truly amazing.

The RMHC Donation Boxes are one of our biggest ongoing fundraisers. It’s from people like you filling the Donation Boxes with nickels, dimes and quarters. Last year alone, more than $18 million was collected.

Just how powerful is the small change dropped into the Donation Box?

If every McDonald’s customer donated a penny in the Donation Box, it could raise over $210 million to support children in need and their families worldwide.
A full Donation Box could let a family stay together at a Ronald McDonald House for up to 2 nights while their child receives care at a nearby hospital.
A full Donation Box could provide a child with a dental screening in a Ronald McDonald Care Mobile.
Change in the Donation Boxes can give families a place to rest in a Ronald McDonald Family Room, just steps from their child’s hospital bed.

Show your support when you see a Donation Box at a McDonald’s, and drop in your spare change. Spread the word and suggest to your friends and family that they do the same.
